TEQNOTerahertz Quantum Nanoelectronics

A fellowship to study terahertz-frequency qubits in semiconductor quantum systems, as a route to more scalable and more robust quantum technologies. We will develop a cryo-optoelectronic platform that lets optoelectronic devices driven by ultrafast lasers work at extreme cryogenic temperatures alongside quantum devices.

TFLYQTerahertz Flying Qubits

A collaboration with CNRS Institut Néel in Grenoble on terahertz-frequency qubits, which promise smaller quantum devices that are more robust against thermal decoherence. Efficient THz sources developed in Glasgow are tested at cryogenic temperatures in collaboration with Grenoble, and working towards integrating THz devices alongside quantum circuits.
